SAORI OYA
After receiving her B. A. Diploma in the Toho Gakuen College of Music, she studied at the Flemish section of the Brussels Royal Conservatory, there in 2000, she obtained a Higher Diploma for Piano, Chamber music and Contemporary music with Great Distinction. And in 2004, she finished the specialization course of chamber music at the same Conservatory.
She became a laureate of “Jong Tarent” in the Philippe Herreweghe Festival in Ghent after the maestro had selected her for the concerts during the Herreweghe Festival. Ms. Oya also plays in a piano duo with her brother Yutaka, and the Oya Piano Duo was invited to perform in many international music festivals. Ms. Oya participated in many concerts by contemporary music ensembles:“Champ d’ Action”, “Ensembles Musiques Nouvelles”, “Prometheus Ensemble” and the Flanders Opera. She was a professor assistant of Piano class at Koninklijk Consevatorium Brussel.
After 10 years in Belgium she returned to Japan.
She received the Fukui Prefecture Cultural Prize, Encouragement Award 2016.
大宅さおり
桐朋女子高等学校音楽科、桐朋学園大学音楽学部ピアノ専攻卒業。ブリュッセル王立音楽院修士課程をピアノ、室内楽、現代音楽においてグランドディスティンクションを受賞し首席で修了。
その後同音楽院ピアノ科プロフェッサーアシスタントとなる。日本に帰国後、各地での音楽祭やコンサートに出演。定期的にベルギーの音楽祭にも招聘されている。コンクール審査やアドバイスレッスン等にも力を注いでいる。
平成27年度福井県文化奨励賞受賞。越のルビーアーティスト。
